A big shout-out to Jenny for getting a mention in this month’s British Archaeology magazine! Her work is mentioned in the article ‘A New Neolithic? England’s barrow columbaria’ (May-June 2023 edition).
One of the reasons the seed group is so quiet at the moment is that Jenny is hugely busy working on completing her PhD in the next couple of months. Her 2018 paper referred to in the article above – ‘And Raise Me Up a Golden Barrow’: Narratives of Ancestry and Continuity in Contemporary British Druidry and Beyond and her other paper – ‘Gods, Wights and Ancestors’: The Varieties of Pagan Religious Experience at Ancient Sacred Sites are both open-access and freely available to read online, just click on the links.
